Will it be 4-0?
This answer is moving around in the mind of cricket lover. After the test at England everyone thought that India team never ever will make this critical situation, but unfortunately Indian cricket techniques, batting capability and captain cool’s confidence are broken down like card house.
Australia’s revamped bowling attack proved too good for a veteran Indian batting lineup as Australia won the first match of the four-test series by 122 runs before stumps on the fourth day Thursday. Man of the match James Pattinson led the attack with 4-53, while Ben Hilfenhaus, who completed his first test five-wicket haul in the first innings, had 2-39.
Australia have won two consecutive Tests against India for the first time at SCG. They had lost the previous Test at this venue by 122 runs in January 2008. India, with their defeat by an innings and 68 runs, have lost five Tests, won just one and drawn the remaining four out of ten contested at SCG. Australia has secured the Border-Gavaskar trophy with an innings and 37 run defeat of India in the 3rd test at the WACA Ground. The final four wickets fell inside two over’s with Ben Hilfenhaus taking three wickets in just 5 balls. The test was won inside 2 and a half days and represents a massive win for the Australian side. Man of the match honors went to batsman David Warner after his incredible batting performance. Warner managed to smash 180 runs off of just 159 deliveries, and someone may have forgot to tell Warner that it was a test match, and not Twenty-20.
So these are the heartbreaking results of previous test of India vs Australia but today the 4th test start with Australia’s batting.Take a look at the current position-
India vs Australia, 4th Test: Statistical highlights
After winning a good toss, Australia recovered from early setbacks to grind India's bowling through another double-century partnership between Michael Clarke and Ricky Ponting. Australia have scored 335 for three wickets against India. Here are the major stats highlights from the first day.

Ponting went past the 13,000-run mark in his 162nd match and 275th innings. He becomes the third player to reach the mark after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. Ponting's century is his eighth against India, making him level with Garry Sobers and Viv Richards as the player with the most Test centuries against India. It is also his sixth century in Adelaide
The double-century stand between Ponting and Clarke is the fourth for Australia in the series. This is only the third time that Australia have managed four 200-plus stands in a series.
Shaun Marsh's poor series continued with another early dismissal. His aggregate of 17 runs so far is the second-lowest in a Test series (minimum five innings) for a top-order player (1-6).
This is the result of 1st of 4th series and 4 days left. One question is knocking our mind and I’m worry about the 4th test result. The cricket-buff are anxious and one question continuously attack to our brain and mind- WILL IT 4-0?
